We can review alternatives from a machining and sourcing standpoint, but final material approval should stay with the customer engineering team.
We pre-compensate machined dimensions based on the expected coating build-up. For example, anodized bores are machined 0.02–0.05 mm oversize to maintain final fit after the oxide layer forms.
